Board Review program Introduction

Depending upon the individual needs of each IMG applicant, NCIME/Kaplan has tailored the programs and offers several options. You will have the option of combining USMLE board review program for Step1, Step1 or step3 with 12 weeks on Hands-on Clerkships. You can always extend the duration of the board review preparation or clerkships as needed for additional costs. US Clerkship-Kaplan Board Review – Basic Package Application for a student visa for up to 9 month stay in the US Choose one of the following Kaplan Center preps:
  • USMLE STEP 1
  • USMLE STEP 2 CK
  • USMLE STEP 3
3 months of hand on inpatient and/or outpatient clinical rotations Workshops on getting into residency, personal statement writing and curriculum vitae preparation US Clerkship-Kaplan Board Review – Basic Package with Extended Clerkships Application for a student visa for up to 9 month stay in the US Choose one of the following Kaplan Center preps:

Getting into Residency Workshop

The purpose of this class is to develop an interactive medium to better prepare the students in facing challenges that is inherent to International Medical Student and Graduate (collectively, IMG). As a result, students will be better prepared when applying to U.S. medical residency programs. Four major topic areas will be covered. These include: Historical IMG roots and conceptual models U.S. IMG policy issues Application methods used by the IMG in preparation for U.S. Residency Programs admission procedures used by U.S. Residency Programs
